Greetings brave virtual world explorers!
Pyogp has come along to the point where it can be used as a tool that
tests the OGP Beta grid (w00t pyogp contributors!). While test case
coverage is lacking, the framework is there for testing the SL agent
domain, SL's OGP sims, and OpenSim sims (to a degree).
We could use a hand : ) Anyone interesting in helping to work with the
pyogp group on scripted testing of the Open Grid Protocol
implementations, and the evolution of the doc sets and quality of the
various code bases, please join in on the fun!
Pygop testing docs are available at:
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Pyogp/Client_lib/testing
Note: I haven't had much luck with running against OpenSim sims yet, and
the docs do need a little more work to explain just what is going on.
The intrepid may read the tests in pyogp to become more familiar, and I
am always available for explaining, and for collaborating on expanding,
the test suite...
Congrats to all for the great work to date. Now to test!
I'll be hosting office hours Friday morning, where we'll be talking
about where pyogp goes from here. Feel free to get in touch any time.
Thanks, enus
