I've been playing around with the various web-pages for AWG, pyogp, OGP,
etc., and I've tried to create pages that index items of interest in
various ways. Just about anything AWG, OGP, etc, should be findable via
at least one of these categories.

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:Grid_Interoperability
--catchall for anything OGP related

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:Open_Grid_Public_Beta
--catchall for OGP Beta

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:Grid_Interoperability_Chat_Logs
--catchall for all office hour and other in-world meetings related to
OGP and AWG

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/AW_Groupies#Misc_User_Pages
--catchall index for user pages on the wiki of a technical nature
--if you have something of interest to other people add the category to
the bottom so others can find it

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:Pyogp_Kitchen_Sink
--catchall index for pages related to pyogp

Enjoy.

Sorry for asking this basic question. I joined the Gridnauts program
but due to unforseeen RL commitments I have not had any chance yet to
get too involved. I do have a fully developed OpenSim grid of my own.
Imagine I am in SL (or the beta grid). I then log out, and then log
into my OpenSim. Now imagine I have a viewer where this process is
automated and while it is doing the log-out/log-in process a teleport
splash screen appears with a progress bar. I am now in my OpenSim
having 'apparently' teleported, but I notice that my appearance is not
the same as when I started, and I have not the inventory I started with.
What's the difference between that, and what the Gridnauts are
currently doing?
With the gridnauts viewer, you are logging into an "AgentDomain" which
then vouches for you to each region/grid you decide to visit. There are
currently many dozens of test sims/grids that accept this authorization
process so when you leave a sim or grid, you're not logging out of one
sim/grid and logging into another. In the long run, we hope to keep
inventory management and group IM services going even if you don't
bother to visit any sim/grid at all. This will allow very lightweight
clients as a side benefit and should relieve a lot of burden on the sims
right now, which have to do EVERYTHING.
